RECIPE OF THE MONTH

THE POLISH APPLE

4-6 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 Polish Sausages
  • 1 lb Sauerkraut
  • 1 Large Apple De-cored and Chopped
  • 3 Medium Potatoes, Peeled and Quartered
  • 2 Cups Apple Juice
  • 2 Cups of Water

 

Directions

  1. Heat water and apple juice in a large pot or Dutch oven
  2. Add all ingredients
  3. Simmer or low boil until Potatoes are tender. (Could take as much as 30 minutes)

(Some people also add cabbage and/or peppers)
